Bempecod EZ Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of high cholesterol levels. It works by reducing cholesterol production in the liver and its absorption from the small intestine. These actions help control the level of cholesterol in the body.
Bempecod EZ Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, take it in the exact dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Also, continue taking this medicine for as long as the doctor prescribes it even if you feel better. If you stop taking the medicine abruptly, the symptoms may return. The most common side effects of this medicine include upper respiratory tract infection, back pain, abdominal discomfort, bronchitis, pain in extremities, elevated liver enzymes, and diarrhea.
